Catherine works as an attorney at Anderson Legal. Prior to joining the firm, she spent two years as a Judicial Fellow with the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts. In that role, she had the privilege of working on all manner of cases with District and Superior Court judges across North Carolina, including complex civil cases, constitutional challenges, and family law and criminal cases.

She then spent a year as a Legislative Fellow for the North Carolina General Assembly, where she assisted legislators with research and drafting related to proposed legislation. She also has experience with business and construction law. 

Catherine has an undergraduate degree in Literature from Ave Maria University and a law degree from the UNC School of Law. She taught Art and Writing for five years before attending law school. 

In her free time, Catherine enjoys spending time with her family and outdoors. She goes through bouts of being a voracious reader. She has been a Board Member for StepUp Durham since 2024.
