Lon'Cherie' Billingsley
Lon’Cherie’ Billingsley is a dauntless litigator. She has 14 years of experience as a practicing attorney. She currently focuses on representing and advising individuals and businesses on commercial law, real estate law, and construction law.
Previously, Lon’Cherie’ served as a staff member at North Carolina Central University School of Law. Prior to that, she worked in a general litigation practice focused on contracts law (commercial and real estate), personal injury law, criminal law, and family law. In that practice, she helped multiple clients achieve six-figure victories. She values her experience working with legal aid, where she provided high-quality legal services to low-income individuals in the areas of consumer protection law, tax law, and housing law. In that position, she helped a wrongfully evicted tenant secure a five-figure judgment (not including attorneys’ fees). She also served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for nearly 7 years, where she was first chair in over 50 trials and drafted numerous appellate briefs (including one for the Ohio Supreme Court).
Lon’Cherie’ received her LPS Certificate from North Carolina State University, her Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University School of Law, her Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University. Lon’Cherie’ has a commitment to serving the community, and she frequently volunteers in and around the Triangle region. In her free time, she enjoys teaching as an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina Central University, serving as Faculty for the National Business Institute (NBI), building her own business profile, spending time with friends & family, and singing karaoke.
